My Story: Hannah

I'm 18, recently out of high school, and I've finally been free of all the craziness of school! Or so I thought.

My parents split up when I was 12, and it was a messy divorce (to put it lightly). My household struggles to live. My single mother works so hard to keep her two girls from knowing about our financial situation, but we both secretly know.

Last week, my dad said he was no longer going to support me financially, whether through university, or generally. Without this money for my mum, we've been put into an entire meltdown trying to figure out what we can do to save money. I'm already working 8 hours a day trying to get some money saved for university, whilst trying to support my little sister through her HSC.

But on the positive side, I bought some succulents that make my house, and it's brought a little bit of happiness to my home. I'm going to university this year, and while my family struggles to afford to fly to Scotland to see all of my family, I'm secretly saving my dollars and cents to get them there for my grandma's 80th.
